Concerts for Teachers

Rebel Teacher founder, Katie Quick, is not just a seasoned educator and teacher advocate, she is also an accomplished musician with an incredible voice and impressive global reach.

From singing into a hairbrush in the bedroom of her southside Chicago home, Katie made her way into the spotlight as an award-winning singer/songwriter with an incredible self-made career as an independent artist in Nashville. She wrote, produced and released three albums and has appeared on tv and radio around the world, including ABC's Katie Couric Show, NBC, CMT, Bud Light's Up for Whatever Commercial Series and more. She made her Broadway debut in Rock of Ages in 2013 and was winner of such prestigious awards as The John Lennon Songwriting Competition and Album of the Year nomination in the Independent Music Awards for her self-produced sophomore album, Valley Between Love. Katie also toured the country with her SEL assembly program, Fingertips, which combined live music and motivational speaking, inspiring over half a million students nationwide.

As part of her mission with Rebel Teacher, Katie Quick is providing unforgettable, live concert experiences, both virtual and in-person, for educators across the country.

Support teachers + Sponsor a concert!

Katie is looking for educators, parent-teacher associations, local businesses, and teacher-supporters nationwide to donate or sponsor a one-of-a-kind, live concert experience for a local school.

Our virtual live concert experiences are an amazing way to show appreciation to local educators while bringing the community together. Concerts are streamed live on Facebook and we encourage schools to invite their entire school community, students, parents, and supporters to attend and support their teachers. Every concert is customized to each school with a special focus on teacher appreciation. The evening starts with meet-and-greet with Katie Quick and the school team, followed by a 45 minute live concert experience dedicated to the educators at the local school. Each concert features at least one giveaway for the educators and other fun surprises!!

If you are interested in sponsoring a concert, please contact us! Concerts can be fully customized to meet the needs of each community. If needed, donations can also be tax-deductible through our 501c3 fiscal sponsor, The Keys Program

What is the fee for a virtual concert?

The virtual live concert fee is $600 and includes a private meet-and-greet with educators and the 45 minute live concert performance by Katie Quick.
